Performance for the 2025 inaugural lecture of the Art Research Institute (IIArte) of the University of Costa Rica, on the structures of creative exploration.
On structures of creative exploration. In almost all my projects I turn to different professionals and consult scientific, sociological, anthropological and archaeological studies, to “complete” the subject from different angles. The subject becomes one more character: research.
I try to round out each project with information that helps structure it, conceptually and visually, so that the exhibition or performance contributes to society with real data.
“Convergencias” (Sobre estructuras de exploración creativa). En casi todos mis proyectos recurro a diferentes profesionales, consulto diferentes estudios científicos, sociológicos, antropológicos, arqueológicos, para así conseguir “completar” el tema desde diferentes aristas, y el tema se vuelve un personaje más: la investigación.
Busco redondear los proyectos buscando información que ayude a estructurar cada uno de los proyectos conceptual y plásticamente, y así presentar una exhibición o performance que contribuya socialmente con datos reales.
